UAE Rulers share happy thoughts, messages on Saudi National Day

Riyadh, Sep 23, 2019 : The President, His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan; His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai; and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, have sent messages of congratulations to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of Saudi Arabia, on the occasion of the Kingdom’s 89th National Day, Khaleej Times.

The leaders dispatched similar messages to Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdul Aziz, the Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence of Saudi Arabia.

Their Highnesses Supreme Council Members and Rulers of the Emirates, Dr Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi of Sharjah; Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi of Ajman; Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi of Fujairah; Sheikh Saud bin Rashid Al Mu’alla of Umm Al Quwain; also sent congratulatory messages to King Salman and Prince Mohammed.

The UAE Vice-President also posted a special message and a video to congratulate Saudis. "We congratulate Saudis for their ever-accelerating accomplishments, leadership and qualified officials. We congratulate the King and the Crown Prince for the support of their people."

The video he posted shows the level of friendship between the peoples and the affection and respect between the leaders of the two countries. In addition to shots of Emiratis and Saudis celebrating togetherness, it also shows the close bond shared by Sheikh Mohammed, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed and King Salman. The video ends with a shot of the Burj Khalifa lighting up in Saudi colours.

Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed tweeted about the strong UAE-Saudi relations. "Your day is ours; your happiness is ours; and your accomplishments make us all proud. Our bond is unbreakable due to our brotherhood, love and common destiny.

"We share deep historic relations, and we have a strong strategic partnership. And we have the same vision about the current and future challenges. We work together to stand together to protect the safety and stability of the region, and to face its dangers and challenges. We are determined to improve our solidarity for the good of our countries and region," he tweeted.
