Mangalore Konkans organize Family Fiesta

Dubai, December 4: Mangalore Konkans organized a fun-filled extravaganza called “Family Fiesta” at Sharjah Wanderers Club yesterday. The highlight of the event was the performance of a South African band called “Afro D Ziac” and DJ Sam, who had arrived all the way from Pakistan. The comperer was Anil Menezes.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Afro D Ziac encouraged couples to come up on stage and dance to the music, and a little later, a prize was announced to the couple that came on stage first. Slowly, the stage was filled with couples, who began dancing to the music.

A number of other events such as henna and face painting contests and spot games were held simultaneously. Since Christmas is just around the corner, a number of Christmas-related events were also held and a well-adorned Christmas tree was placed on the premises.

The event came to an end with a delicious buffet and more spot games.
