Mangalore, March 10: The Dubai-based UAE Tulu Koota will stage a popular Tulu drama on March 25, Friday at Shaik Rashid Auditorium of Indian High School in Dubai. The widely acclaimed Cha Parka Kalavidaru will be brought to Dubai for the fifth time.
Two new dramas by Telikeda Bolli Devadas Kapikad, the winner of the Karnataka Rajyotsava Award, will be presented on this occasion. Kapikad is a writer, actor, and director and has featured in more than 6,000 shows all over the world.
The drama Badkud Orinda has already been staged 300 times in India and has become so popular that it has already been translated into Kannada. The Kannada version titled “Baduki Ulidare” has already been staged 12 times. The drama is a combination of comedy, unique dialogues, and serious social messages. The drama Gopala Ee Parbala is another master play by Kapikad, which has already been staged 75 times.
C. R. Shetty, the convener of UAE Tulu Koota, has requested all fans of Cha Parka Troupe to attend a meeting organized by UAE Tulu Koota on March 11, Friday at 10:30 a.m. at Venus Deluxe Restaurant in Karama, Dubai. He has urged those interested to purchase their tickets quickly.
