Ferarites UAE organize annual picnic

Dubai, Feb 5, 2012: Ferarites UAE, an association of people from the Ferar parish, organized their annual picnic in Al Safa Park on Feb 3 Friday. 

The picnic was packed with music, games, fun, and traditional Mangalorean games such as tug-of-war and Kabbadi. Prizes and gift hampers were given away on the occasion to the winners.

President Leslie Fernandes delivered the welcome address. He especially thanked Al Shay caterers for providing breakfast, lunch, and high tea. 

A 100m race and the Queen of Sheba game was conducted for the kids, and Passing the Bottles and Dodge Ball was held for the adults. 

Prizes were given away at random for games like woman with the longest hair, men with the largest amount of money, and others. Group games such as Drawing on the Head and Blindfold Shaving were also held. 

A talent show based on the themes of engagement, roce, marriage, and divorce was held, and each participating group was given 8 minutes to present a skit. The photographer of the event was Ronald Moras. 

The event came to an end with a prize distribution ceremony.
