Doha : Several enthusiasts take part in 8th Annual Talent Contest of MCC

 Doha, May 21, 2013 : A variety of contests organised as part of the Eighth Annual Talent Contest under the aegis of the Mangalore Cricket Club (MCC) Qatar saw several enthusiastic participants at the Ashoka Hall of the Indian Cultural Centre here  recently.  The contest is organized for Konkani speaking Mangaloreans in Qatar. Joyce Mascarenhas, Celia D’Souza, Richard D’Souza and Anthony Peter D’Souza were the judges of the contest.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The contests included dance and singing competitions and fancy dress for various age categories. The competitive spirit  of the contestants was hailed by the organisers. The judges were presented with mementoes   on the occasion.

 Committee members Ephrem D’sa, John Britto and Ronald Saldanha,General Secretary Prakash Noronha  and others were present. Winners were presented with participation certificates.   Prizes will be awarded to winners during the Nativity Feast celebrations to be held in September.
