Suratkal parishioners in Dubai celebrate Feast of Sacred Heart

Dubai, June 11, 2013 : Parishioners of Suratkal residing in the UAE celebrated the Feast of Sacred Heart at the Indian Club at Dubai recently.

A variety of programmes were organised to mark the occasion which was participated by several parishioners with enthusiasm. Godfrey Misquith read out the message sent for the occasion by Fr Antony Lobo, Parish Priest of Suratkal church.

 

 

Several contests, dance and music programmes entertained the audience. A comedy skit by Prashanth Mascarenhas, Deepak D’Souza, Wilson Serrao, Valerian and Roydon left the audience in splits.

 Secretary Clara Pinto read out the annual report while  Valerian Almeida spoke on the welfare programmes organised by the Suratkal Parishioners Association. Ashok Kumar D’Souza, President of the Association and several others were present on the occasion.
