Yakshamitraru presents ‘Kateel Kshetra Mahatme’ to mark decennial

Dubai, June 15, 2013 : Yakshamitraru, an organization based in Dubai which is playing a key role in popularizing the rich art of the coastal region,  presented a Yakshagana ‘Kateel Kshetra Mahatme’ at Sheikh Rashid Hall here on June 14, Friday to mark its decennial celebrations. Several amateur artistes came together to present the show.

 

 

BR Shetty, Chairman of UAE Exchange felicitated Yakshagana Bhagavatha and artiste Purushottam Punja Bottikere by conferring him the title ‘Yakshagana Bheeshma.’

Sudhir Kumar Shetty, Chief Executive Officer of UAE Exchange, Vasudev Bhat, Owner of Venus Hotels, Girish Shetty, President of Karnataka Sangha, Dubai, Satish Poojari, President of Karnataka Sangha, Sharjah and others were present.

Fortune Group of Hotels, ACME Group and Arab Udupi Hotels were the sponsors of the event.
