Mangalore Cricket Club hosts Children’s Christmas Party

Doha, Dec 16, 2013 :  It was fun and frolic abound  at the Children’s Christmas Party organised by the Mangalore Cricket Club (MCC) Qatar  to usher in the Christmas celebrations. The party was held at Al Jazeera Academy Hall here recently.

The X’mas tree, the crib, the star everything added a special attraction to the  party and children upto the age of 16 years enjoyed the party to the fullest. Santa Claus was also there to present plenty of gifts to the children.

The children were dressed in red. The programme began with a prayer by Gina Noronha. Sunil D’Silva, President of the Club, welcomed the gathering. The Christmas message was delivered by Shalini Monteiro.

Christmas Carols were rendered by the children’s choir. Several  games including  fixing the nose of reindeer, lucky Santa’s cap, Christmas tongue twisters were conduct and spot prizes were awarded much to the delight of the kids.

A Christmas cake  was cut and goodies and snacks were distributed to the children. Riana Pinto, Cultural Secretary distributed the prizes.
