"This was no age to go..": PM Modi on Kannada actor Puneeth Rajkumar’s demise

New Delhi, Oct 29, 2021: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday, October 29, expressed sorrow at the sudden demise of Kannada Power Star Puneeth Rajkumar. He said that future generations will remember him fondly for his work and wonderful personality.

 


“A cruel twist of fate has snatched away from us a prolific and talented actor, Puneeth Rajkumar. This was no age to go. The coming generations will remember him fondly for his works and wonderful personality. Condolences to his family and admirers. Om Shanti,” PM Modi tweeted.


Power Star Puneeth Rajkumar passed away at the age of 46 on Friday. He died after suffering a heart attack.

The mortal remains of Puneeth Rajkumar reached his home in Bengaluru’s Sadashivanagar. His fans will be able to bid final goodbye to him at the Kanteerava stadium in Bengaluru on Friday.

Arrangements are already underway at the stadium for Saturday’s funeral ceremony.
