1 dead, 15 injured in grenade attack in Srinagar in J&K

Srinagar, Nov 04 2019:  One person was reportedly killed and at least 15 people were injured in a grenade attack in Srinagar this afternoon, police said. This comes a week after 15 civilians were injured in a similar grenade attack by terrorists in Sopore town of north Kashmir.

 

All those who were injured in today’s blast at a vegetable market in Hari Singh High Street in the centre of the city have been admitted to hospital and condition of some of them is said to be critical. The attack took place at 1:20 pm, news agency PTI reported.

The market area has been cordoned off after the attack.

This is third grenade attack in Jammu and Kashmir in the last 10 days.
