16-Year-Old Schoolgirl Allegedly Gang-Raped by 3 Men Near Delhi

Ghaziabad. Jan 08, 2015:  A 16-year-old schoolgirl from Delhi’s suburb Ghaziabad was allegedly abducted and gang-raped by three men in neighbouring Noida on Wednesday.

The minor, a student of Class 10, was on her way back from tuition on Wednesday evening, when she was allegedly picked up by three men in a Scorpio SUV, police said.

She was then allegedly taken to a house in Noida, gang-raped, and then dumped back near her house.

A medical examination of the girl to establish rape will soon be conducted.

The three accused have been taken in custody by Ghaziabad Police. One of the accused was known and has been identified by the girl, the police said.

A case has been registered under Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POCSO).
