18 Sabarimala pilgrims from Andhra Pradesh injured after bus overturns in Kerala

Pathanamthitta, Nov 19, 2022: At least 18 people were injured after a bus from Andhra Pradesh, carrying Sabarimala pilgrims, overturned and fell into the valley near Pathanamthitta in Kerala on Saturday.

 

The accident occurred as the bus was on its way to Sabarimala. The passengers suffered injuries and the condition of three of them was said to be critical. All the injured people were rushed to a hospital.

No casualties have been reported so far. Further details are awaited.

The Sabarimala pilgrimage, which began earlier this week, attracts close to 50 million devotees every year.
