36 Cows found dead in Delhi shelter, Doctors suspect "Some disease"

New Delhi, Jul 27, 2018 : Thirty-six cows were found dead in a cowshed in Chhawla area of Delhi’s Dwarka on Friday. Initial investigation suggested that they could have died due to some disease. A police team and veterinary department personnel were at the spot.

 

Deputy Commissioner of Police Anto Alphonse said that the cows were of the Acharya Sushil cowshed. Rain water was found accumulated in and around the cowshed. 

The police were informed about the deaths of the cows at around 12.30 pm. The cowshed has around 1,400 cows.
