Jammu,Oct 21, 2016 : Seven Pakistani Rangers and one terrorist were killed in retaliatory firing by the Indian Army at the International Border in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kathua district today, the Border Security Force has said.
On Wednesday night, BSF troops had foiled an infiltration bid in the Hiranagar sector. Today, Pakistani Rangers targeted a BSF area domination exercise along the International Border.
Pakistani Rangers opened fire by sniper rifles at 9:35 am; one BSF jawan was hit and is in critical condition, the BSF said.
