7 killed, 12 injured in blast at fireworks factory in Himachal Pradesh

Una, Feb 22, 2022: A blast at a fireworks factory in Himachal has killed seven people and left 12 people injured. The incident took place in the Tahliwal industrial area of Himachal Pradesh’s Una.

 

The injured have been rushed to a hospital in Una. Fire department personnel and officials are present at the spot.

While two people sustained minor injuries, 10 were severely injured.

UNA Superintendent of Police Arjit Sen said a fire incident was reported in the firecracker packing factory in Gurpalah near Bathri village of the Tahliwal Industrial Area. The cause of the fire will be investigated.
