7 killed in collision on Yamuna Expressway in Mathura, Yogi Adityanath condoles deaths

Mathura, May 07, 2022: At least seven people were killed when a WagonR car collided with another vehicle on a stretch of the Yamuna Expressway in Mathura, Uttar Pradesh on Saturday morning.

 

Passengers in the car three men, three women and a child were killed on the spot in the deadly collision, while two others were injured, police said.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has expressed condolences to the bereaved families and directed that those wounded in the accident be given proper medical treatment.

The mishap took place near Milestone 68 in the Naujheel area of Mathura in the wee hours of Saturday. The family travelling in the WagonR was reportedly on its way to attend a wedding.
