APMC president shot at by unknown men in Bengaluru

Bengaluru, Feb 3, 2017: Two bike-borne assailants reportedly opened fire at Agricultural Produce Market Committee president Srinivas Murthy near Yelahanka in Bengaluru on Friday.

Local media reported that Srinivas Murthy was grievously injured in the shooting. The identity of the gunmen has not been established so far. Onlookers said that four rounds of bullets were fired. Srinivas was facing several criminal cases against him, including murder, riot and criminal intimidation.
