Another Tamil Nadu class 12 girl dies allegedly by suicide, 3rd in 2 weeks

Chennai, July 26, 2022: A girl student allegedly died by suicide in Tamil Nadu’s Cuddalore district today, becoming the third Class XII student to die in the state over the past two weeks.

 

Police said the girl was upset after her mother scolded her. A case of suspicious death has been registered, and the body has been sent for autopsy.

Concerned by the recurring deaths of teenaged girl students, Chief Minister MK Stalin has appealed to them to shin suicidal thoughts.
