Army Officer, 2 soldiers killed in firing by Pakistan along LoC

Jammu, Dec 23, 2017 :  Pakistani troops opened fire on an Indian Army patrol, killing a Major and two soldiers, along the Line of Control (LoC) in Keri sector of Jammu and Kashmir’s Rajouri district today.

 

The firing took place around 12.15 pm, news agency PTI quoted an Army officer as saying. In the sudden firing, an army Major and two soldiers were killed, while another soldier was injured.

Indian troops were retaliating effectively, the officer said.
