In a response to the Enforcement Directorate, the Chief Minister said he was ready to cooperate with the investigation, however, termed the notice "illegal".
Kejriwal’s party alleged the probe agency intended to arrest the Chief Minister and wanted to prevent him from election campaigning.

On Tuesday, the AAP said it would act according to the law over the Enforcement Directorate’s summons to Kejriwal, its Chief National Spokesperson Priyanka Kakkar said on Tuesday.

Upon being asked if Kejriwal would appear for the January 3 summons, the party’s spokesperson, Priyanka Kakkar said, "Our legal team will be better equipped to answer this question. We will act as per the law."

This was the third notice to Kejriwal after he refused to appear before the federal agency on two earlier summons for November 2 and December 21.

Kejriwal skipped the ED’s earlier summonses, calling those "illegal" and "politically motivated".
