Aryan Khan gets bail in drugs case by Bombay High Court after 3 weeks in jail

Mumbai, Oct 28, 2021: Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan was on Thursday granted bail by the Bombay High Court in connection with the Mumbai cruise drugs seizure case.

 

Along with Aryan Khan, the high court also granted bail to Arbaaz Merchantt and Munmun Dhamecha in the case. The court will give its detailed order on Friday.

"Bombay High Court has granted bail to Aryan Khan, Arbaz Merchant, Munmun Dhamecha after hearing the arguments for three days. The detailed order will be given tomorrow. Hopefully, they all will come out of the jail by tomorrow or Saturday," Former Attorney General Mukul Rohatgi, who represented Aryan Khan, said.

Aryan Khan, 23, was arrested on October 3 along with several others during a raid by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on Cordelia Cruises’ Empress ship off the Mumbai coast. His bail application was earlier rejected by both the magistrate court and the special NDPS court.
