BJP leader Shahnawaz Hussain receives threat letter

New Delhi, Jan 22, 2016: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Shahnawaz Hussain on Friday received a threat letter.

A case was registered at North Avenue police station after the threat letter was received.

Hussain is one of the most articulate spokespersons of the BJP.

Ahead of the Republic Day celebrations, the National Investigating Agency (NIA) on Friday held a number of terror suspects from across the country.

The NIA is on its toes to ensure foolproof security during the event.
