Bangalore, Sept 20 : Lokayukta police launched a search operation at the house of former Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa’s son-in-law on Tuesday.
The search operation was in relation to the complaint filed by the JDS before the Lokayukta about kickbacks in the Upper Bhadra project.
There were complaints of bribery against the son-in-law, who runs two firms that were allegedly favoured by Yeddyurappa when he was the Chief Minister.
The Karnataka High Court on Thursday had granted Yeddyurappa anticipatory bail in the same case.
