Bangalore, Mar. 3: Religious faith and order in the country seems to be shaking with several religious god men being exposed in some or other scandal recently. The name which has now come in this list is Swami Nityananda who is being alleged of a sex scandal.
Nithyananda Swamiji of Nithyananda Dhyana Peetha near Bidadi, close to Bangalore, seems to have landed in a controversy when scenes of the Swamiji in intimate positions with a film actress was reportedly aired on a private Tamil news channel last night.
Several scenes probably shot from a hidden camera over two days were beamed on the TV after the channel confirmed the person involved was the said Swamiji.
In one of the clippings, the Swamiji was seen lying on a cot watching TV. The woman in a white saree, her image made hazy by the TV channel, entered and candidly went romantic with the Swamiji well responded by the latter.
In another clipping shot on another day, the woman said to be a film actress dressed in a white chudidar enters the room and offers a tablet and water to the Swamiji sitting on the cot. She even offers a beverage-like liquid to the Swa miji to drink. That is followed by explicit intimate scenes between the two.
The Swamiji, hailing from Thiruvannamalai District in Tamil Nadu, has established the Dhyana Peetha at Kallugopahalli near Bidadi. Similar Ashrams have been reportedly established at Salem, Thiruvanna-malai, Namakkal, Krishnagiri, Sethur, Rasipuram in Tamil Nadu, Yembalam in Pondicherry, Sathamarai at Rangareddy district in Andhra Pradesh, Manikarnika Ghat in Varanasi, Puri in Orissa and many such Ashrams in several foreign countries.
As soon as the news spread, people began assembling near the Ashrams in Tamil Nadu and began protesting.
The Ashram near Bidadi was reportedly attacked and vandalised. A rasta-roko was also held for sometime. However, it is learnt that the Swamiji is not to be traced.
