Bengaluru: Minor fire reported in Siddaramaiah’s chopper

Bengaluru, Jan 10, 2015: Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah had a narrow escape as a minor fire was noticed in the chopper which he was flying in.

On his way to Mysuru, Saddaramaiah was accompanied by the state PWD minister and his staff.

The fire was noticed in the silencer of the chopper just before take off. A technical glitch is said to have caused the fire. He will now travel to Mysuru by road.
