Bengaluru cafe blast: Suspected bomber tracked, NIA ascertaining identity: G. Parameshwara

Bengaluru, Mar 11, 2024: The suspected bomber in the Bengaluru’s Rameshwaram cafe blast case has been tracked and his identity is being ascertained by the security agencies, said Karnataka Home Minister Dr. G. Parameshwara on Monday.

Speaking to reporters, Parameshwara said, “The identity of the bomber has been almost confirmed. The special wing CCB and the National Investigation Agency (NIA) sleuths are further ascertaining it.”

The Minister added that with good leads on the suspect, officials are inching towards nabbing him.

The NIA on March 9 released photos and videos of the suspected bomber involved in the blast at city’s popular eatery ‘The Rameshwaram Cafe’ on March 1.

The agency also declared Rs 10 lakh reward for any clues and information leading to the arrest of the suspected bomber.

The CCB has also formed several teams to track and nab the accused.
