Bengaluru woman, going to her brother’s house, raped by 2 men who gave her lift

Bengaluru, January 21, 2025: A woman was allegedly sexually assaulted on Sunday by two men who she had hitchhiked with. The incident took place under the SJ Park Police station limits in Bengaluru. The police arrested the accused- identified as Saravana and Ganesh.

The woman was near the KR Market bus station at around 11:30 pm as she was looking to head to her brother’s place in the Yelahanka area.

The two men, on the pretext of dropping her, took her to a secluded location and raped her.

The victim was also robbed of the money she was carrying, her phone and the jewellery she had on her.

A rape case has been registered against the accused at the Women Police Station in Bengaluru Central Division.
