Blast At Market In Meghalaya’s Williamnagar, 6 Injured

Meghalaya, Jan 09, 2016:  At least six people have been injured today in a blast at a market place in Meghalaya’s Williamnagar.

The blast occurred at around 1.15 pm in a wine shop, police said. The injured were rushed to the hospital.

Garo National Liberation Army or GNLA, a militant outfit active in the Garo Hills area of Meghalaya, is believed to be responsible for the blast, a senior police officer said.
