Bomb scare on Delhi-Pune SpiceJet flight, plane being searched at IGI airport

New Delhi, Jan 12, 2023: A call was received before a SpiceJet flight headed to Pune from Delhi could takeoff, said Delhi Police on Thursday. According to the police, the flight is currently being searched at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International airport.

 

Delhi Police said so far, it has not found anything suspicious but security drills will be followed as per Standard operating procedure (SOP). The CISF is also on alert after the call was received and the two forces are working together to handle the situation.
