Business man murdered over love affair in Mumbai’s Santacruz

Mumbai, August 29, 2016: Santacruz police has arrested a 27-year-old woman for murdering a Mumbai businessman Tilakraj Rajput, 43, on Sunday. Rajput was in laundry business and was in a relationship with the accused for last five years.

Rajput’s body was found in an XUV car on Sunday night after which his body was sent for a post mortem.

The reports suggested that he was strangulated after which the woman who was seen with Rajput last was picked up.

REASON

"The woman has confessed to the çrime. She said that they were in a relationship and she felt deceived by him after which she took this drastic step," said senior inspector Shantanu Pawar of Santacruz police station.

The case has been registered and the accused will be produced in a court on Monday for police custody.
