CCTV catches man snatching chain from woman at Wadala station in Mumbai

Wadala, August 23, 2014: What should have been a normal day for one unsuspecting woman at Wadala station in Mumbai, turned out to be her worst.

 

A CCTV located at the station shows a woman, wearing a yellow suit, being robbed in broad daylight as she waits for a train at a busy platform.

The footage shows a man approaching the woman from her left, with no untoward behavior visible.

As he gets close to her, he suddenly lunges, grabs the chain around her neck, and before she can react, jumps off the platform on to the tracks and flees.

Luckily for her, the police was able to arrest the chain snatcher with the help of the CCTV footage.
