COVID-19: 206 Persons test positive in India, according to ICMR

New Delhi, Mar 20, 2020: A 69-year-old Italian tourist, who had recovered from COVID-19, died of cardiac arrest at a private hospital in Jaipur on Friday, 20 March, PTI reported quoting SMS Hospital official to Yahoo.

 

As the novel coronavirus sweeps the world, Ram Navami celebrations in Ayodhya, scheduled between 25 March to 2 April, have been cancelled, as a precaution to contain COVID-19.

Meanwhile, global ratings agency Fitch slashed India’s growth forecast to 5.1 percent from 5.6 percent, as the country’s tally of cases reached 195 on Friday, 20 March.

The number of COVID-19 cases in the United States spiked to 13,680, killing 200 people so far, according to John Hopkins University on Friday.
