Car with explosives found at Ambala railway stn.

Ambala, Oct13:  Over 5 kg of explosives, two timers and five detonators were found in a car parked outside the Ambala Cantonment railway station on Wednesday night after a tip-off about a possible terrorist attack.

 

The car has a Haryana registration number, but the police suspect it could be fake. A sweet box with a Jammu address was also found inside the car.

Security has been stepped up at the Ambala railway station. All roads in the area have been closed temporarily.

Special teams from Delhi and Haryana police, including the National Security Guards (NSG) are handling investigations.
