An FIR (First Information Report) has been registered against both the real estate developers Seven Hills and Minister D Sudhakar, Srinivas, Bhagyamma, and 35 others. These charges encompass violations of the SC and the ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989.

Two complainants, Subbamma and Asha, resided in the disputed property in Bengaluru. Minister Sudhakar and Seven Hills have been locked in a legal battle over the property, with cases still pending in court. However, on Saturday, Minister Sudhakar, along with 35 others arrived at the complainants’ residence. They brought heavy machinery, a JCB, to demolish the house in which Subbamma and Asha were residing.

The group initiated the demolition of the building, sheet roof, and compound wall on the property, with the JCB. When Subbamma, Asha, and others rushed to the scene upon learning of the destructive activity, the complainants alleged that they were subjected to physical assault by the people.

Subbamma’s daughter, Asha, was also a victim of the assault and she claimed that the people resorted to caste-based abuse when questioned about their actions.
