Commonwealth Games: Weightlifter Venkat Rahul Ragala Wins 4th Gold for India

Gold Coast, April 7, 2018: Venkat Rahul Ragala won India’s fourth gold medal at the ongoing 2018 Commonwealth Games in Gold Coast on Saturday when he clinched the men’s 85kg title.

Rahul successfully lifted a maximum of 151kg in snatch, before lifting 187kg in clean and jerk.

Samoa’s Don Opeloge was the closest competitor during the event, as he picked 151kg in snatch and 180kg in clean and jerk.

Malaysia’a Muhamad Fazrul Azrie won the bronze medal.
