Kerala, Jun 11, 2018 :  All is not well with the Congress in Kerala. Or so it seems. Someone put up the party’s regional office Indira Bhavan on sale on e-commerce website OLX a few days ago. The building was listed with a price of Rs 10,000, which was obviously a prank, although the OLX user who has created the listing seemed to disgruntled over the national party sparing a Rajya Sabha seat for Kerala Congress (Mani). Indira Bhavan is the main office of Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) in Thiruvananthapuram.

The Olx user -- he goes by the name of Aneish -- placed the ad to sell the KPCC office building at a price of mere Rs 10,000. Sharing an image of the building, which is located in the Sasthamangalam Road area of the city, the advertiser listed the building as a "ready to move in property with an area of 58,888 square feet".

The advertiser, in a rather audacious move, also asked the interested people to contact the Indian Union Muslim League (IUML) or Kerala Congress (M) for the property. While nothing much is known about the advertiser as of now, he appears to be disgruntled over INC’s decision of gifting its Rajya Sabha seat to Kerala Congress (M).

As per the reports, the ad was posted on OLX on Saturday and had garnered around 300 views by Sunday. However, it had been taken down from the online marketplace at the time of writing this report, so no you can’t buy the building now.

Meanwhile, the generous political move from Congress has not gone down well with a section of its leaders who have expressed their dissent over the decision. According to a report by the News Minute, six of the party’s MLAs have written a letter to the party president Rahul Gandhi expressing their "utmost disappointment" over the decision.

"This has betrayed the sentiments of the ordinary Congress workers in Kerala and is a huge humiliation to their spirit," the MLAs wrote in the letter while urging the party president to reconsider his "catastrophic decision" and fielding a Congress candidate in place of the seat that has been granted to Kerala Congress (M). The letter has been endorsed by party MLAs including Anil Akkara, VT Balram, Roji M John, KS Sabarinadhan, Shafi Parambil, and Hibi Eden.
