Dalit leader hacked to death in Karnataka’s Tumakuru district

Tumakuru, June 15, 2022: A Dalita Sangharsh Samiti (DSS) leader was hacked to death in Tumakuru district of Karnataka on Wednesday, June 15.

Narasimhamurthy, a DSS leader, was attacked by armed men and murdered at Gubbi village in Tumakuru.

Following the incident, police visited the crime spot and have started investigations.

Karnataka Home Minister Araga Jnanendra met the relatives of the deceased Dalit leader and expressed his condolences.

Araga Jnanendra assured the family that the investigators will nab the accused at the earliest.
