Acording to a report by Bar and Bench, following his bail, police received a request to suspend Darshan’s arms licence over concerns of misuse, which the police accepted and served a notice of the same to Darshan.

However, in his petition, Darshan has claimed that due to his fame, he is under constant threat and thus, for his and his family’s safety, had acquired the arms licence, whose suspension he hopes to revoke.

Further, he has argued that mere apprehension of misuse is not sufficient grounds for suspension of license.

The High Court is yet to hear his plea regarding the same.
