Delhi: Building collapses in Sadar Bazar area, several feared trapped under debris

New Delhi, Feb 09, 2021:     A residential building collapsed in Delhi’s Sadar Bazar area on Tuesday, with several people believed to be trapped under the debris. The incident took place near Qureshi Nagar, Charkhiwali gali in Sadar Bazar. Five people have been pulled out from the debris so far, with three of them reported to be in critical condition.

Six fire tenders, rescue and medical teams have been rushed to the spot. "Deeply worried to hear about collapsing of a residential building in Sadar Bazar area. Rescue operations are underway, I am constantly monitoring the situation," Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said.
