Delhi Teen Girl Dies, Car Driven by Underage Friend

New Delhi, Mar 20, 2015:  A 16-year-old girl has died after a speeding car, that was being driven by her underage male friend, went out of control and crashed into a tree in New Delhi last night, said police sources.

 

The minor boy, who suffered serious injuries in the crash, has been admitted to the Trauma Centre of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS).

The two teenagers are neighbours and study in the same school.

The incident took place in South Delhi’s posh Vasant Vihar shortly after midnight, when the boy sneaked the car out of his home and decided to take it for a joy ride, police sources said.
