New Delhi, Dec 4, 2013 (Zee News): The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) appears to have an edge over the Congress and the Aam Aadmi Party in Delhi, according to the outcome of exit polls on Wednesday.
The C voter exit poll results show that the BJP might get 32 seats, Congress 28 and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) 12.
According to the ABP News-Nielsen survey, BJP is expected to get 32 seats, Congress will get 18 and AAP will bag 18, while Others will manage to bag 2.
According to the Times Now-C voter survey, Congress will bag 21 setas, BJP to win 29, and the new political outfit AAP 16, while Others will get 4.
India Today-ORG survey also predicted handsome victory for the BJP. The survey conducted shows that Congress will get 21 seats, BJP to win big with 41, Kejriwal’s AAP will manage 6 and Others will get 3.
Balloting for the Delhi Assembly came to an end at 5 pm on Wednesday.
Polling began at 8 am for the 70-member Assembly.
A total of 810 candidates battled it out in the polls in which over 11.9 million voters were eligible to exercise their franchise. Ballot count will be held December 8.
