ED recovers 2 AK-47s from home of Jharkhand CM’s aide

Ranchi, Aug 24, 2022: Two AK-47 rifles were recovered by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) from the premises of a close aide of Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren.

 

The ED raided multiple locations in Jharkhand today in connection with the ongoing money-laundering investigation into the illegal mining case.

The AK-47 rifles were found kept in an almirah at the house which is a rented property of Prem Prakash.

In May 2022, the ED questioned Prem Prakash, who is a real estate businessman, in connection with the illegal mining case.

According to sources, Prakash, a native of Sasaram in Bihar, has a lot of clout in the government. He has a close relationship with politicians and bureaucrats.
