Earthquake jolts north India, including Delhi-NCR; epicentre in Afghanistan

New Delhi, Jan 02, 2015: Tremors were felt in some parts of northern India, including Delhi and NCR, on Saturday.

The India Meteorological Department said the earthquake measuring 5.8 on the Richter scale had its epicentre in the Hindu Kush region.

There were no reports of casualties or damage to property in the national capital.

The tremors were also felt in Jammu and Kashmir and Pakistan.
