Evidence Not Handled Well: High Court On Salman Khan Case

Mumbai, Dec 10, 2015:  The Bombay High Court on Thursday acquitted Salman Khan saying that he cannot be convicted on the basis of the evidence produced in the 2002 hit-and-run case, in what is being seen as a major relief for the actor.

On basis of evidences produced by the prosecution, the appellant cannot be convicted.
   
Salman Khan’s bodyguard Ravindra Patil, key prosecution witness, not ’wholly reliable’
   
It is not proved beyond doubt that Salman Khan was driving and was drunk.
   
The way evidence like bar receipts was collected suggest fabrication.
   
Singer Kamal Khan, who was present in car with Salman Khan, should have been questioned.
