Kolkata, Oct 12, 2021: A fire broke out at chief minister Mamata Banerjee’s office on 14th floor of West Bengal Secretariat on Tuesday.
Workers of Nabanna, which houses the temporary State Secretariat of West Bengal, saw smoke coming out of the 14th floor. Soon, fire department and disaster management officials were rushed in.
It was not a major fire and is under control.
No casualties were reported as the state secretariat is closed due to Durga Puja.
