Five persons, returning from wedding, killed in road accident in Patna

Patna, Jul 04, 2017: Five persons returning from a wedding were killed when a speeding SUV rammed into a stationary truck in Bihar’s Patna district early on Tuesday, a police officer said.

 

The incident took place near Mahadevsthan under the jurisdiction of Maner police station .

There were five passengers in the SUV.

While three passengers died on the spot, two succumbed to their injuries at Patna Medical College and Hospital, Maner police station in-charge Rajiv Ranjan Singh said.

They were returning home after attending a marriage ceremony at Moudehi Bigaha village near Bihta in Patna district, Singh said.
