Forces rescue 60, including school children, from encounter site in Kulgam; 1 terrorist killed

Kulgam, Nov 20, 2021: An encounter broke out between security forces and terrorists in the Ashmunji area of Kulgam district in Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday. The security forces rescued at least 60 people, including school children, from the encounter site.

 

According to the latest inputs, a Hizbul Mujahideen commander has been killed by the security forces while the encounter is still underway.

Two other militants are believed to be trapped at the site, sources said.
