Former BSP lawmaker’s son waves gun at 5-Star Delhi hotel

New Delhi, Oct 16, 2018 : The shocking video of a man waving his gun in full public view in Delhi, right outside a prominent five-star hotel, is in wide circulation online. The police have identified the man as Ashish Pandey, the son of a former parliamentarian of Mayawati’s BSP, Yahoonews reported.

 

In the 10-second clip shot on a mobile phone, Ashish Pandey has a gun in his hands as he argues with a woman and threatens her, allegedly over a minor dispute. His woman friend and a security guard can be seen intervening to calm him down. The video ends with the man being dragged away by the hotel staff as he continues to argue with the couple, shouting abuses and threats. The incident reportedly took place on Sunday October 14, after a party.

The Delhi police has registered the case under the Arms Act and says Pandey will be arrested. A realtor based in Lucknow, he is known to frequent the capital with his friends and party in hotels.
