Ghaziabad: 6, including 5 childen, killed in fire caused by short circuit

Ghaziabad, Dec 30, 2019: A fire caused by a short circuit killed six people, five of them children in a Loni, Ghaziabad district, on Monday.

 

The youngest of the children was just five years old.

All the victims are from the same family. Their names are Parveen (40), Fatima (12), Sahima (10), Ratiya (8), Abdul Azeem (8) and Abdul Ahad (5).

The victims were unable to escape when the fire spread in the room where they were.

The incident took place in Maulana Azad Colony, where locals have been plunged into grief.
