Girija Vaidyanathan named new TN Chief Secretary

Tamil Nadu, Dec 22, 2016: The Tamil Nadu government on Thursday appointed Girija Vaidyanathan as new Chief Secretary in place of P Rama Mohana Rao.

The Income Tax Department on Wednesday raided the residence and office of Tamil Nadu Chief Secretary P Rama Mohana Rao and claimed to have recovered Rs 30 lakh in new currency, besides 5 kg gold.
